Honda is well aware of this fact and has wanted to do something nice for consumers who have been so patient with the automaker's dwindling inventory. So, in the spirit of you-have-our-back-we-have-yours, they've decided to honor national discounts on sold-out models via a new incentive campaign, officially coined the "Honda Promise".
"You may be concerned about the availability of your next Honda vehicle," Honda writes on their website. "Should recent events impact the vehicle of your choice, we've developed special options for you until your new Honda arrives. Translated into everyday speak, the "Honda Promise" is dedicated to honoring incentives, regardless of vehicle availability, and to extending lease agreements for up to a year. As you might expect, the "Honda Promise" extends to the company's luxury arm, Acura, as well.
Additionally, Honda launched a new incentive campaign on June 22. It's comprised of a variety of special offers, including $0 due at signing and low monthly payments on the 2011 Honda Accord, 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour, 2011 Honda Odyssey, 2011 Honda CR-V and 2011 Honda Pilot.
Honda expects vehicle inventory levels to return to normal levels, in two months.
